Certified Measurements, Inc. is a full service metrology laboratory offering traceable calibration and repair of electronic, dimensional, force, pressure and temperature measuring instruments.  The quality system and documentation have been assessed by

the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and found to meet the requirements of ANSI/NCSL-Z540 and ISO/IEC 17025.  The laboratory received

initial accreditation for technical competence in the field of calibration in June of 2000

from A2LA.  Our current Scope of Accreditation is available on our web site at

www.cmi-labs.com.  Additionally, the laboratory has undergone independent third-party audits using the NUPIC Commercial Grade Survey Checklist and been found to meet

the requirements of 10CFR50 and 10CFR Part 21 for providing services to our clients

in the Nuclear Industry.

Certified Measurements, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Georgia in 1981.  We currently have more than 800 customers nationwide, with the majority of our service

being provided in the Southeast.  The laboratory is housed in a 9,600 sq. ft. facility.

Our company is very sensitive to the fact that the Precision Measurement Equipment being serviced is critical to our customer’s quality and production goals.  Calibrations

are performed in strict compliance with ANSI/NCSL-Z540 and ISO/IEC 17025.

On average, the monthly workload consists of more than 900 calibrations and 90 repairs.  In addition to maintaining a strong workload turn-around rate, we participate

in a large number of proficiency tests each year to validate our methods and

measurement uncertainty.

The technical staff consists of 15 trained metrologists and 4 support staff.  Certified Measurements is a member of the National Conference of Standards Laboratories International (NCSLI), the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), the National Association for Proficiency Testing (NAPT), the National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM)  and the Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) Metrology Data Bank.
